Leave Policies

- No one who is late or has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without the permission of the class Teacher / Head Mistress.
- Except in the case of unforeseen illness, no leave may be taken without prior sanction from school authorities. Leave for more than 3 days accompanied with medical certificate must be sent.
- Every absence must be entered briefly in the leave record and signed by parent or guardian in the diary.
- Repeated absence of child without leaves or absence for more than 5 consecutive days renders the students liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Re-admission will be totally at school’s discretion with payment of Re-admission fee.
- Students suffering from chicken pox, measles, mumps and conjunctivitis should produce a doctor’s certificate starting that child is fit after the infectious period of disease is over.
- In all the cases when student is not able to attend the school for a day, a note from the guardian is necessary.
Discipline Policies

1. APPRECIATION CARD: ORANGE CARD
Improvement in Behaviour, Academic, Attendance and Life skills will be appreciated and may help to improve the overall personality of the learner.
2. WARNING: YELLOW CARD
It can be issued to the student in any of the following cases. If the student is -
- Indiscipline and has erratic behaviour.
- Does not abide by the norms.
- Discourteous and disrespectful.
- Uses abusive language.
- Talks rudely to the teacher.
- Spoils the decorum of the class
- Does not meet deadlines for submission of the work.
- Irregular and inattentive in class.
- Lacks concentration.
- Does not come in proper uniform.
- Irregularity, late coming and bunking the class or school.
- Brings mobile or other electronic devices to school.
Warning to the student for minimum three (3) times and then a point on yellow card will be issued which will be signed by the teacher, student and the parent. Three points on a yellow card would result in one point on red card.
3. SUSPENSION: RED CARD
It can be issued to the student in any of the following major offences.
- Bullying and any damage to the School property, (premises/bus)
- Damage to the neighbourhood property
- Reacting inappropriately to other children personally, alone or with other students.
- Cheating and lying repeatedly.
Any major offence would give the student a point on the red card and immediate suspension for 10 days with the consent of the Principal. Student can enter the class after the suspension period, only with the permission of the Principal after giving an apology letter duly signed by the parents.
4. ATTENDANCE: WHITE CARD
Regularity in attendance and punctuality will be appreciated and students with 100% attendance will be awarded with a certificate.
Uniform Policies

Jewellery & Appearance Guidelines for Girls:
- Only small stud earrings are permitted. Dangling earrings or hoops are strictly prohibited.
- A single, thin kara (steel or copper) is allowed.
- Gold jewellery, including chains, rings, and bangles, is not permitted.
- Applying Henna (Mehendi) on hands is strictly prohibited. A fine of ₹50 will be imposed for any violation.
Consequences for Non-Compliance:
- Any violation will result in a yellow card as a warning.
The prohibited item will be retained by the school until the end of the term.
Medical Policies
The school has the services of a trained Nurse.
- It has the facility to store prescription medication for individual pupils. Please complete student medication form. It is the student's responsibility to carry any required emergency medication such as asthma inhalers and adrenaline pens on their person; however, we do have facilities to store spares.
- There are times when a student may require simple basic first aid, for example simple dressings, non-prescription medicines e.g. paracetamol for headache, mild muscle pain, sore throat, aches and strains and all these are instantly provided.
