Youth parliament is an academic simulation of the Indian Parliament. that aims to educate participants about current events and topics in national relations. Keeping this in mind, the Hillwoods School organized Youth Parliament on the 12th day of October 2018, for the students of classes IX to XII. The interesting and thought provoking session involved the students in decision making process and it was a wonderful dais to equip the future leaders with debating skills, problem solving attitude and leadership qualities. Interesting and intelligent questions were raised by children on issues related to women and child development, threat of climatic change, implementation of POCSO Act, PDS scam and India-US relation . Youth Parliament ended on a successful note, Ms Priyal Malakar won the best parliamentarian award and Opposition party bagged the title of the Best Party.
