Unlike other Parliaments, laughter was a part of serious debates which ended in constructive conclusion instead of any bitterness. On the 19th day of August 2017, Youth Parliament was organized by Hillwoods School, Gandhinagar. The objective of youth parliament is to teach children democracy, equip them with debating skills, stimulate them to present their own thoughts and listen to those of others and also enhance their knowledge about the political sphere. Interesting and intelligent questions were raised by children on issues related to women's safety, national security, education policy, FDI in agriculture, security of Indian students studying abroad and condition of Indian railways. Youth Parliament ended on a successful note, where the youth of Hillwoods were provided with a platform to voice their opinion and question the government policies.
